1. Tapebaking.com, Dan Alexander audio and Dan Alexander accept
no responsibility for any tapes sent to us for baking or evaluation.
2. Tapes are the sole responsibility of the owner and the tape
owner indemnifies Dan Alexander and tape baking.com from any
liability, loss or damages of any kind in connection with damage
or loss of any tapes sent to Dan Alexander for baking or evaluation.
3. Any tapes sent to Dan Alexander or tapebaking .com for baking
or evaluation that become the subject of any legal controversy
as to ownership will only be returned upon receipt of a letter
directing such return signed by all parties to the dispute .
4. Although we have had great success with tape baking, Dan
Alexander and tapebaking.com make no guarantees or warrantees
in any way that baking tapes will rejuvenate said tapes in any
way.
5. We do not provide storage facilities ..any tapes left for
a period exceeding 14 days after baking will be charged a per
reel fee of 10. Per week.
6. All shipping costs are the sole responsibility of the tape
owner.
7. An additional handling and shipping fee of 5.00 per reel
(minimum of 10.) Will be charged for any reels of tape that
we must ship.
8. We highly suggest you obtain adequate insurance to cover
your valuable tapes. We will not be responsible for the loss
of, or damage to, your tapes in any case.
9. The positive effects of tape baking generally will last approximately
30 days. We highly recommend you either transfer or mix your
tapes as soon as possible after baking.
10. We accept most forms of payment, but in the case of payment
by check, we reserve the right to hold tapes until all funds
have cleared our bank ; generally 3-7 business days after deposit.
11. Generally speaking, scotch brand 250 and 226 do not need
to be baked. Generally speaking, any ampex tape over 3 years
old should be baked before playing.
12. We do not charge sales tax on tape baking services
